Hiya,
On the right hand side of any post on the forum, you will see a '+' or '-'. These are to give, or take away a 'contribution point'. Contribution points are part of the in-forum default 'thankyou' system (which you can also do, once per topic i think). Contribution points are used to show evaluation of another topic members contribution, or respectfully disagree.
A '+' will show a green bar, and add 1 contribution point. A '-' will take one point away. It's the forum's way of giving other members the opportunity to show a little apreciation to worthwhile contribution.
And before you ask, you can't give yourself contribution points. I already tried!
Many thanks
Wayne
P.S. The 'thanks' button can only be shown to the person who made the topic. The topic maker then has the option of once pressing the 'thanks' button in relation to another members reply, whom they feel is most relevant, or helpful.
