The forerunner to this forum was Reiki4all. Lots of it's members came over to here. You'll remember our moderator - Rob. Rob has just passed away, after a long illness.

Rob was so very important to me. And i am certain many will recoqnize these qualities in him. He was an early mentor of mine, freely sharing his time and experience. He kept me relatively safe, in those 'baptism of fires' that often happened on Reiki4all.

A father figure to me, he helped and advised me on many things. Like all decent teachers/mentors, he recoqnized whenthat part of our journey was complete, making way for others to guide me.

Still maintaining our close relationship, Rob and I entered into many in-depth discussions centering around creating a new Reiki forum, filling the gap left by Reiki4all. So we both gave birth to RLL.

Rob was still involved with another Reiki forum at this time. Seeing that RLL was able to bring in key Reiki persons globally, i'm sure it was not lost on Rob that the success of RLL was secure. Rob respectfully then decided to not carry on the journey here. Still this forum would not have been possible without myself knowing he was standing with me, in those crucial planning stages.

Rob was a warm, friendly, witty man. A father figure to many. Someone of great maturity and responsibility.

I'm going to miss our chat's greatly.

Think it was few days ago Buck. Not sure of the illness. I'm also not sure how much Reiki was in his life in latter times. We'd have talked, less and less, though about all things but Reiki. His family said on his FB profile.

    Thanks James, and Wayne.

Well, there must have been a connection forged between us because this last weekend -- all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday -- I found myself wondering whatever happened to him.

I also experienced a lot of spurratic bursts intense and regular static electricity that pulsed through my body on random intervals through the end of Saturday. I thought it was because I upset someone with an e-mail (unfortunately, honesty is my best and worst trait), so I just thought the person I sent the e-mail too was disturbed by my words and I was sensing their upset. I simply relaxed with the process and offered Reiki. On Sunday I received an e-mail from that person thanking me, and shared a wonderful inspirational story that just happened in their life after they read my message. That got me confused, because it meant the experience was related to something else.

It may have been Rob. Perhaps a Distance Reiki treatment for Rob is in order? I'm going to offer Rob a formal Reiki treatment later this evening. If you'd like to join in, please do (at any time that is convenient for you).
