Reiki Digest
Log inI was attuned to Reiki one a few years back but did not follow up with it. I wonder if I should be attuned again or just pick it back up. I did not do self treatment daily after the attunement but am ready to do the work and learning now. This was the year I had hoped to get my health together but have had a major health setback so not sure how that will play into everything. Appreciate any advice.

pick up where you left off
& start doing self treatments
along with implementing the 5
Reiki precepts into your everyday
routine.

i do not feel you NEED to have another attunement. the 21 days self-healing will likely work wonders for you.
however, if you felt that you needed a 'kick-start' you could approach a local reiki teacher, explain the situation and ask if you could sit in on the next class that is run. i've done this before for someone.

you have titled your post by using words "begin again". i feel you don't have to 'begin' since once attuned, you are already on the path, and have travelled some steps, if not more
this year (2013), i sought the new year resolve by asking myself what i want ? and i had one, only one, answer from my inner self - health and well-being... so in the name of your well-being and your health, lets we all welcome you
if you have your teachers' level one manual handy, go by it. try to develop a 'feel' and a love for reiki... reiki is an act of feeling as much as it is an act of 'doing'... you may meditate that you are feeling reiki... in the beginning, reiki feeling is just akin to love... years later, you will feel how multidimensional reiki love is !
the daily routine is simple :
. sit in gassho for a while..
. reaffirm the reiki principles to yourself once daily
. do a full body treatment sessions on yourself
. feel relaxed and enjoy!
