    Thanks Dokasan.
    I notice that traditional medical
    adds are using vocabulary that
    alternative therapies use.There is
a subtle change happening as alternatives
get integrated into traditional medicines sunny

Huh, imagine that... traditional western medicine's approach of treating its patients like Josef Mengele treated his must be losing its appeal. Could it be because people heal better when they are cared for like human beings??? Who would'da thought.

Can I get an Amen for Buck... cheers

It`s more of a challenge to get well if you are treated like...meat/a file/a disease/or a commodity...(or a commode for that matter if there is a new cancer drug that needs testing)sometimes i think they only see the disease instead of the person...

Anyways...alopathic medicine got hughly expensive...interested business entities got involved with lobbiests...now we have alot more drugs available to treat symptoms of diseases we have quit trying to cure....We spend research money mostly on compounds to supress symptoms and prolong life...not fix people..

I am thankful that we have the system...It has saved the lives of a few I hold near and dear. As a young child, I may have died myself without antibiotics, yet it seems, that most fear the medical system these days, and it`s not because they might make you go "ouch".

The one thing I hear over and over from 2 retired nurses...the hospitals are no where near as clean as they once were...and post surgery staff infections abound...

I have never spent a night in a hospital, and i hope i never have to...

I would much rather spend my last breath in the woods while watching, my friends the wolves, decide how they are going to eat me...lol

    Amen!..( for Buck) Very Happy

as for hospitals cleanliness levels.....our wards are RIFE with all manner of potential killer infections....

I know of a few stories close to home where patients contracted a 'superbug' from within the hospital wards...lots of people are afraid to go into hospital for surgery now, because they are afraid of what nasties they might contract while in there!!... I'm not surprised these superbugs have spread though...the air is so horrible, heavy, warm and stagnant, it a breeding ground for these superbugs....add to that of course the low standard of cleanliness in some hospitals and hey presto! its a superbug time bomb just waiting to explode.

excellent!...it's only a matter of time before complimentary heathcare becomes considered more 'mainstream'...its the way forward, theres no stopping it...the changes are already underway. Wholistic is the way to go.... for far too many years its been a pill for every ill attitude..and it doesn't work, one size does not fit all. The pharmacuetical companies will be having night sweats now!!!

Complimentary healthcare has to be fully integrated with our current healthcare sytems. People are not stupid! we are living in an information age, there is no excuse for blind ignorance anymore....people are able to make informed choices about what works best for their total wellbeing...

Doctors and the pharmaceutical industries no longer have the monopoly on healthcare. a few years ago i was working in Boots the chemist ( I was the cleaner)..and in the staff room there was a big notice board about 'complimentary medicine'....and about how much money was being spent in this sector yearly...so naturally Boots has to try and jump on this corner of the market to see a healthy profit margin.. Even though its only about profit for them, in a backhanded way it's still making more natural remedies available to the general public. Before Booots cottoned on to the healthy sales in this area...one could only buy essentail oils and homeopthic remedies from a few small specialised outlets.... so there are times when jumping on bandwagons can be for the greater good... Cool
