is it "step a way" or "step away" ? since if it is former, i take it as if you are NOT closing the sharing side of your immense knowledge to folks like me and several other beginners ?

It has really changed.

Yes, the way some people practice Usui Reiki Ryoho has certainly changed but, to me that is of no consequence, as long as I am comfortable with the way I practice. I don't feel the need to convert people to the way I practice but if people want to know more that is great!

I can't imagine that someone with such a deep understanding of the true essence and benefits of Reiki practice would completely turn their back on it but could quite easily understand why they may decide to step back from the glare of the public and continue to practice in a more personal way.
