thanks everyone...he was 46, unmarried and a good soul ever ready to help people with blood donation, food, clothes or money sometimes even at the cost of himself...
he was in ukraine in 2000 i think, and was on the metro station using the moving stairs with his friend. one lady fell and was literally being dragged into the area where the steps go inwards. my brother took three four leaps and pulled her up otherwise she would have had a serious mishap. later she asked whether he was an indian and whether he was married. then she told him to come home with her saying that she had a beautiful daughter and he should marry her as she owed him her life.
he was a great support to me especially after my husband expired in 2004. taking the kids to the park, playing with them, teaching them, even getting their hair cut and bathing them...kids were also very unhappy on hearing that their mamu (mother's brother) was no more...he was their best mamu.adults who give gifts to kids and talk to them as equals are always considered the best.
