to carry on from another thread....

Wayne, Manchester is fully booked so I am on reserve for any cancellations, there were some places left at Bath last time I looked, but Bath is a bit too far for me.....so we'll see.

I hope you have a wonderful experinec Wayne, my experiences with Mother Meera have been beautiful, but not everyone has such profound encounters....

I tend to melt into heartspace in the presence of Mother and end up with tears streaming down my face... all questions and words dissolve, just pure experience for me.... I love you

I don't know which other thread this one is carried on from but just wanted to say that I managed to get a reservation for Mother Meera's Darshan in Manchester at the 2pm session. Are you coming up to Manchester, Wayne. or going somewhere nearer?

i could reset the whole forum, hehe. but not do anything else, sorry. If it happens, what might work in the future..

    try to refresh.
If not work, go back in browser, take time as it might be slow loading. Once the forum comes up, whatever page. See can you go forward once more. then again. You might see it saying message sent, etc.

There has been server issues, and the owners have changed servers, so hopefull this isn't as often. It's very frustrating though. We cna spedn a lot of time on posts, and become quite inspired, and then it's lost. Evil or Very Mad

yup! makes one a little growly! grrrrr I kept doing the backpage thing but to no avail....

I'll try again, this was in response to Colin never having been to see Mother Meera before...

The first time I ever heard of Mother Meera was through my Reiki Master.....she has spent quite a bit of time with her... and I found her tales fascinating, but nothing much more than that.....then over the weeks I started to see Mother Meera in my mind's eye and during meditation.... ( was I being called in some way??)......hmm wasn't sure but I knew I had to go and visit her. Then ( as these things often happen) sweet synchronicity set into motion, I was browsing in Oxfam one day and came across a book on her ( or it may have been my husband fgound the book, I can't honestly remember now, he often finds books for me) anyway....this book turned up Hidden Journey by Andrew Harvey

twas a fascinating read and piqued my curiousity about Mother even more....

next happenings I came across an advert in Kindred Spirit, for a spiritual retreat weekend out in German to go and see Mother Meera and some sacred sites, Sandra Straw organiser ( I'd never heard of her before)....anyway, before I knew it I was booked on this retreat. My soul sister from Wigan came with me too... we both went with a completely open mind and if anything a good dose of healthy skepticism....I'm well aware that people can write absolutely anything in books and a thousand words in a thousand books mean absolutely nothing until validated by personal experience....

SO!....off we went......I'll cut a long story short..

we were booked in to receive 4 darshans over 4 evenings....and kathy and I didn't have a clue what to expect...I some how imagined everyone sitting on the floor, but the venue was a HUGE building, with a large hall for the darshan.......lots and lots of chairs were lined up ( phew at least we get to sit on a chair me thinks).....but what I didn't expect was to see hundreds of people lining up to see mother shuffling around on their knees!!??!!......

( I'm posting in little snippets so if my computer plays up again I won't lose too much)

    ~~

Mother sits on a large chair on the main stage...........and everyone ques up on their knnes all the way up to sitting infront of her. There is no routine for who goes when you just get up and get on your knees in the ques when you feel compelled to do so. I felt completely stupid and totally out of my comfort zone.... but I shuffled along with everyone els on my knees until I reached Mother. The nearer Igot to her the more my heart started to pound, I thought it might explode in my chest.....then when I knelt infront of here I felt uneasy thinking which eye should I starte into?? I kept flicking from one eye to the other!!??.......ahahahahah it was all quite surreal

the whole Drashan lasted for 3 hours during which time everyone will have made their way up to Mother and returned to their seats......I was extremely physically unconfortable that first night I just couldn't get a comfy position on my chair and kept fidgeting at one time I lifted my knee up to hold it to my chest resting my fluffy sicked foot on the chair when a rather grizzly and stern looking German ( one of Mothers helpers no less) rather rudely motioned for me to put my foot back down!!?? I thought WTF??? I looked at my mate and we started to get the silly schoolgirl giggles.....you know the ones ..where its the most inappropriate time to laugh, when you should be silent which of course makes you giggle all the more.....

( My compter just blew a wee gasket again)

    ~~

after what felt like a physically torturous 3 hours we returned to our BB...that night everyone in the group had some very bizzarre dreams.....

the following night, same routine, 3 hours, consisting of sitting and shuffling on the floor on our knees....but this time I was much more relaxed I knew what was expected of me and I wasn't going to get all flicky eyed this time I would just stare into One of Mother eyes... my heart still pounded so hard though, like it was about to explode.......but when I returned to my seat this time, I felt a different shift in my body and I settled much easier into a meditative state.......and felt extremely calm and contented...

the tears flowed and flowed.............twas wonderful.....

my friedn was staring to feel a bit dissillusioned at this point because she was feeling much and I was in floods of tears.... but the 4 th night proved mind blowing for her... ( me also in a different way)

she experienced a really beautiful and profound vision...( I caught glimpses of it not sure how maybe because I was sat next to her ).......but she was moved very very deeply and the tears flowed and flowed...........that night we didn't want to leave and sat there crying long after everyone else had left the hall........and the thought of it fills me up now..... Kathy was so moved she wanted to go and sit at the foot of Mother's chair even though she had gone....

we came away from German having no doubt that Mother Meerra is the real deal and we felt Truly blessed in the real sense of the word.....

Blinkin eck!! my computer is not playing today at all!!!

Colin best to expect nothing and just go in with an open mind........but for me I feel like a tiny flower bud opeing up in the presence of a beautiful spiritual sun........words can't do the experience justice.... but I certaqinly didn't feel that after just one Darshan........I really appreciated the 4.....and of course with any profound experience like that the transformation is ongoing.........my friends hubby went out to see Mother soon after we came back, and he a a mind blowing experience also......they now live in New Zealand and put all the positives that have happened to them down to their visits with Mother.....

I have been invited many times to join friends
who love to participate in Mother Meera Events.
They find comfort during the event. I have never
gone to any Mother Meera events. For me it would
seem like handing my healing power over to someone
who appears to have the role of a Goddess/Virgin Mary.
