Peace.....I was brought up in a Christian
home. Yet my first memory was not learning
the Lord's Prayer...It was.... singing about
Kevin Barry.... a long song each verse etched
into my young mind.....that began...
In Mountjoy gaol one Monday morning
High upon the gallows tree,
Kevin Barry gave his young life
For the cause of liberty.

Peace and freedom was the goal but like many
countries it boils down to power and peace got
lost in the, them and us. Until finally some
folks decided to start talking peace with the
children.. sorta from the bottom up and things
began to change.

aww well.. i guess i should start singing the sash then shall i? Hehe.
