Overcoming the diagnosis Empty Overcoming the diagnosis

Sometimes it seems that to accept a medical prognosis at face value could be limiting - perhaps it may become an excuse to forfeit responsibility for our own healing.

Interesting article in the Guardian about beating locked in syndrome...

    Thanks for sharing this man's
    amazing experience. We pass
these articles on as if they
    are stories. We can become
    de-senitized that this is a
    miracle. Its obvious from what
he tells us, that a lot of
    hard work went into surviving,
    learning new ways to communicate
and go beyond the boundaries of
    the medical healing world.

John, check out this documentary film
"Moment By Moment " It's about Molly Hale,
who suffered a spinal cord injury in an
automobile rollover, and after being told
there was no hope for movement below her
    shoulders, proceeded to rehabilitate herself
and continues to recover. "Moment By Moment"
is about disabilities, health and healing,
attitude, choice and intention, sex, intimacy,
and relationships. Its online 59 mins running
time. I believe that we have an inner 6th sense
that can take us beyond the boundaries of the
formal scope of medical research sunny
