2000 A.D ‘that antibiotic is artificial, here eat this root”

hmm,

I cant help feeling that somewhere
- perhaps between "eat this root" and "say this prayer" (?)
or (if we are going by date), between "drink this potion” and "swallow this pill"

something is missing.

I can't quite put my finger on it ...
(or do I mean "can't quite lay my hands on it"?)
