Hi
As a new member to the reiki learning lounge i hope this question doesnt seem stupid but, do you need to clever, learned, intelligent and well read to practice reiki.
I dont seem to have read the books or attended the seminars and lectures that most reiki practitioners have, not been to the meetings and training sessions that seem to be obligatory.
I am an ex coal miner,ex steel worker, and now truck driver, into the martial arts for nearly 30 years and drifted into reiki through one of my tai chi students, and i think i have a natural gift for reiki.
I have had some"formal"training but think that reiki should be instinctive, should be a thing felt not learned, Am i wrong !!i have only done a few treatments(if that is what they are called) but the feedback has been overwhelming.
Am i doing the right thing or am i deluding my self??
Any views and opinions would be most welcome.
Oh , and Hello by the way
