Intro to medical Reiki webinar

I received an email that was promoting
an.... Intro to medical Reiki webinar.

I thought to myself.. when I
was first introduced to Reiki it was
known as "Natural healing" are folks
now integrating more medical techniques
to enhance Reiki or Reiki to enhance
the medical field. It should be an
interesting webinar.

It wasn't the one that Pamela Miles does was it by any chance?

I went to that one in London last year and found it to be very interesting. It was not about integrating medical techniques but more about how to introduce Reiki practice into medical settings. It including useful information such as using neutral language, learning the appropriate medical terminology to communicate credibly and effectively, not making claims that cannot be backed up by real science and how to introduce a Reiki program into a hospital setting. There were 30 very experienced Reiki practitioners at the seminar from the UK and other European countries and I was amazed that most of them were already working in healthcare institutions either as volunteers or paid workers.

It also nice to meet Pamela and we had a good chat!

Yes Colin, it was Pamela Miles.
she has worked in the medical
setting and done some interesting
Reiki work. It is helpful when
working in a medical setting to
be aware of medical terminology
when communicating with the DR's

I have directed many folks to
Pamela who live in the Manhatten
area of NY city. Glad you were
able to chat with her.
