hi everyone
im really sorry but im afraid that i was unable to send everyone reiki in the reiki share on sunday as i have been really ill. i have been feeling so rotten that i completely forgot. iam feeling a bit better this week but am still in some pain. i promise to send out massive amounts of love and reiki to you all next sunday.

I've found that when the intent is there, that Reiki happens often without conscious choice.

One time I completely forgot about an appointment due to some poor scheduling records and being quite busy and easily distracted. So I get a call about an hour after I was to do the distant/absent session, and had some glowing reports about the session itself.

Besides, we will catch you on the flip side!



p.s. I don't really know what that means <G>

As far as I know its an ongoing thing and we don't have to sign up every Sunday?

No, you're right. It's the way Bridget suggested. If whoever is gonna be involved in the pending share posts, this way thy are also letting all others involved know to do absent healing for them. This way, only active participants recieve Reiki, as it's a reciprocal concept, .

ah, ok, I must have misread it then. My bad.

I would like to be involved Sunday then.

I didn't catch that when I read the guidelines and it seems unnecessary to me to sign up for each week's share.

It should be sufficient to post after we've sent, I think.

Best you & Bridget edit the guidlines whatever way you both decide, .

If though, you only post after you do absent healing, you can't know if the all the people you done it for, were intending to do it for you.

As the forum will undoubtedly grow, there could end up being 100's of names in the section, with some not even active members, let alone folks who are being reciprocal. One person absent healing that many would be an issue in itself, never mind those who came on the forum, signed up to this section, then forgot all about it. And, wouldn't want treated with Reiki now if asked, i.e. permission. .

My original idea was based on the way it worked on Reiki-4-All. People added their names to the list and notified after they sent. Part of the charm of the Sunday share was that it was slightly casual -- send when convenient, let us know that you have.

My own feeling about this is that it doesn't have to be 100% reciprocal all the time. If people don't notify that they've sent, eventually we'll assume they don't want to be a part of it any longer and remove their names.

In the meantime, I'm in for tomorrow.

Yeah, with Reiki4All, toward the end, one or two people began to request for Reiki daily, and not offer to do the same for others, let alone be willing to even treat themselves. I was involved with this on Reiki4All, and took it to pm with all of us involved. This was spoke about by our forum staff before the 'Reiki share' was suggested (check admin/mod forum, re: 'distance healing requests?'). And was why i made the whole healing section based on reciprocal exchange, .

Hi Stardust that is an interesting approach.
Usually we do not start a new list every week.

Each week folks only need to respond, "Reiki sent to all"
You check to see if you need to add any new names to your
list. After a reasonable amount of time if someone on the
list has not checked in weekly. Then Arabella or I will
update the list with active senders.
