Jeepers, now that's severely saddening, .
I was just thinking bout 'recycling' there. Here in N.Ireland, and it's maybe same for most of UK, we have compulsory waste recycling. Our bins don't get emptied if we havn't placed the correct items in the correct rubbish bins. The local councils (who collect the rubbish) get fined if they don't recycle properly.
Although, essentially, recycling is only one aspect, do any other countries have any similar ways of tackling this?
