    i have noticed that lower back pain goes to the shins as well as ankles .....the minute my back pain goes pain in the legs especially right leg, behind the knees(hand position depicted) shins and ankles disappears

    Hi Renu.

    Yes, unfortunately that's very true for many whom I've met and provided Reiki to.

    What's illustrated above is only one out of many possible hand positions to use when treating a very general form of backpain. And it also may represent the minimum hand placement positions that may be used, too.

    Buck my husband went under 3, five hour
    spine fusion surgeries total of 15 hours
    in 10 days, April 27,2011. Back pain he
    does not have. Dr's nurses & therapist
    look at him and ask on a level of 1-10
    what back pain are you experiencing,his
    response is zero. He is not on pain
    medication. He is learning to walk and
    his cancer level went from a level 4 to
    zero.8 Dr's do not acknowledge it but I
    do, Reiki, diet,visualizations & prepare
    for surgery worked for him. Backpain (general) 850837 sunny bounce

    Hospitals settings are not conducive to
    Reiki hand positions but the Reiki gets
    to where it needs to go Backpain (general) 158903
