Hi Dharma, I was chatting to a Reiki master teacher with over 20 years experience and she has never worked with her guides in her life. I ask'd her what happens when she does a treatment and her answer was "I look into the garden and watch it grow". So to be a Reiki practitioner you dont have to work with guides at all. I have just finished teaching level 2 to one of my students and she is as spiritual as a house brick, but a fantastic practitioner. Most people do work with there guides when working with reiki, but if you cant hear what they are saying, then its probably not for your ears.

    Reiki guides are optional. sunny
Some folks use their intuition instead bounce
